Colombian Salsa: footwork, speed, complicated and synchronized with partner. Not on 1 or 2 count. They basically dance to the instruments and vocals of an ole’ skool Salsa jam. Typically salsa before the 80’s (romantic era) Salsa pioneers and legends alike (all members of Fania All Star, Feliciano, Celia, Richie Ray & Bobbi Cruz, Pete Rodriguez, Gran Combo, the Palmieri’s, Bros. Lebron, Sonora Matancera, Cuco Valoy (whew, outta breath) and many more. They all wrote songs dedicated to our style of dancing Salsa, Pachanga and Boogaloo.
