    This month I visited Living XXL for the first time.

    For us ’small town people’ it is quite a trip to get here for a night of dancing. About 2 hours each way. Not exactly something you would do all the time.

    That said though, it was worth it.

    We arrived early so we could have dinner at the premises. Dinner was great and the staff was very courteous. The only ‘problem’ you might find is that dinner is not served instantly. It takes some time for your order to appear. Then again, the quality of the food was definitely worth the wait.

    As we had just received our main course the free workshop at the beginning of the night started. I think it was Monica Bauer that lead the workshop but apologize if I’m wrong. I was hungry and mainly focussed on my food.

    Once the food started hitting my stomach I relaxed and started paying a bit of attention to the workshop. I’m not sure why anymore but I laughed a lot. Not that anything was wrong. The way she lead the workshop was just very entertaining.

    Just as we finished with our dinner the party started. Timing could not have been better. The DJ did a great job and the floor was filled all the time.

    Come to think of it, that might be the only thing I could complain about. The dance floor is too small. It just can not accommodate the number of dancers that are there.

    But then, the floor in the rest of the place is fine as well (or is that because I brought baby powder?) so we danced next to the tables, next to the bar, basically anywhere that we could find a spot.

    All in all I would definitely recommend visiting Living XXL if you are in or near Frankfurt on the first Thursday of the month. You’ll have a great time!
