Salsa Dance
Salsa is originally an informal dance from die Caribbean (Cuba and Puerto Rico), Latin- and North America. The dance is a mix of Mambo, Danzón, Guaguacó, Cuban Son and other typical Cuban dances. Salsa is danced with different music styles. Salsa music and dance is very much African influenced.

Salsa music
Salsa music is a Spanish Caribbean music genre, especially famous in Latin America and worldwide spread through the Latin Americans. Salsa is including a lot of different styles and variations. Sometimes the idiom Salsa is used to describe Cuban genres like Cachacha and Mambo.
It is a special style which started between the 1960ies and 1970ies and was played by Cuban and Puertorican immigrants in New York.
