Caribbean Salsa is a special style of Salsa music. It consists a lot of different drums (steeldrums/pandrums) because Caribbean music is dominated of drums. If you hear any piano the Caribbean would probably replace them through drums.

Eddie Palmieri who came originally from Puerto Rico in the Caribbean is influenced by Caribbean Salsa. Listen to this video and you can hear it.
